Santa’s lucky night F06
Mikołaj Czapla IIb

Since it is Christmas time and magic is in the air, let’s read stories about Santa to feel the atmosphere.

It was the night from the 6th to 7th December, so Santa Claus had a lot of work to do. He had to deliver presents to all kids in the world in one night. The time was passing fast, but Santa was happy because he knew he would be back home soon.

After many hours of slipping through the chimneys and travelling in a one horse open sledge he was exhausted and had a bad feeling. There was one more house where Santa had to leave presents. He took the gifts out of the sledge and he walked inside through the chimney. He wanted to do his job fast and quietly. Suddenly, someone sneezed behind Santa. It was Mr. Brooks, the father of the family who lived in that house. Mr. Brooks wanted to say something, but, Santa gave him a sign to be quiet, smiled and went back to his job. Mr. Brooks smiled back, he left milk and something to eat for Santa and went back to bed.

The following day Mr. Brooks didn't tell anyone about his night meeting. Santa was very lucky, wasn't he?
