Our school takes a part in the European Project Comenius. Thanks to this project,
in March we hosted Swedish students, and a few weeks ago a group of our students
went to Sweden.
On the first day of our trip, we had terrible bad luck. We touched down at about
2 p.m., but there weren't any trains to Avesta and we had to wait until 8 in the
evening to catch the next one. The next day, we visited the Swedish school where
we watched some presentations about Sweden and the attractions of the Avesta region.
On Tuesday, we visited some stables for bison and we watched them. In the evening,
the students cooked dinner for everybody. On Wednesday, we went on a moose safari
and visited the museum of the future. On the fifth day, some students went to the
skating ramp, while others went to the pool. On the last day in Avesta, we played
hockey and in the evening we had a disco. On Saturday, we went to Stockholm where
we did a lot of sightseeing and shopping.
This trip gave us a chance to catch up with our friends from Sweden and practise
English. The visit to Avesta was an unforgettable experience for us.
