During the times of the Polish king Bolesław II the Bold, a knight called Radwan
lived in our country. He was confident, brave and loyal to the king. One day the
king and Stanisław the Bishop of Cracow had an argument. The knight killed the Bishop
and then went to Ruś Kujowska. Bolesław II the Bold was grateful to Radwan for what
he had done. As a gift, the King gave him a village which is now called Radwanowice
and is one of 24 villages in the Zabierzów community.
In the picture there is a crest of Radwan.
