Once upon a time in one country lived one boy named Ebenezer Scrooge. He was 22 years old and he was ugly. In his life he loved just one thing: computer. He loved playing on it; he even loved reading the eBooks… He didn’t go to the school, because he was an adult. He lived with his mum and dad in one house. He didn’t have any brothers and sisters. He even spent Christmas with a computer. He didn’t care about family, about his future, about anything. But that year amazing things happened. On Christmas Eve Scrooge as always sat in front of the computer. He heard his mum. She was talking to him: “Ebenezer, please come to us!”

But he didn’t listen to her. He was just playing his new game. As he was playing his computer screen became black! There was a cut-off! He was angry. Ebenezer turned back, and he saw… three ghosts! They were flying and they were talking, really loudly. He heard one ghost saying: “No! He’ll come with me first, not with you!” The second ghost said: “Not with you. He must go with me!” The third one didn’t say anything.

Ebenezer was looking at them. Then they saw him! “Oh, Ebenezer, my lovely Ebenezer!”… said one ghost and he came closer to him. “Come with me”, he said and he grabbed his hand. Then Scrooge didn’t see anything. Suddenly he saw his mother, and…. Little Ebenezer! They are sitting next to the Christmas tree. The boy is opening the present. He has got a new computer!

“It’s your first computer,” said the ghost. “You started using it 12 years ago!”

Ebenezer didn’t answer. He was just looking at his mother. She was really happy, because she didn’t realize what could happen in future.

Suddenly everything was dark again. Then he saw himself as a teenager. He was sitting in the park with his girlfriend. She was angry. She told Scrooge:

“You don’t love me! You love just your computer!”

“Yes, it’s true. I don’t love you,” he confirmed. The girl hit him on his cheek. The ghost looked at Ebenezer and said: “Do you want to see more?”

“No, but tell me who you are!” he answered.

“I’m the Ghost of Christmas Past. In your room, there is Ghost of Christmas Present , and Ghost of Christmas yet to come.”

“Why are you here?”

“We want to help you. You must know that you can’t go to Heaven if you stay like you are now. You’ll be traveling around the world till the end of time!” said the ghost, and grabbed Scrooge’s hand again. They were in his room again where he saw two other ghosts. They were sitting, and playing cards.
