In the morning, we gathered at Red Square in front of the school and then we took
a half-hour bus trip to the Moose Safari. The Moose Safari is situated in the forest
near the main road. The weather was fine, but we could see snow in some places!
The forest was beautiful and green. Next to the parking lot there was a house where
you could eat something and buy souvenirs. We found a path behind the house along
a fence. As we were walking along this path, suddenly we saw a moose. The safari
keeper told us his name: Elvis. Elvis was a very big moose. He was going for a walk
to the forest and marshlands with lots of mud. He was treated with bananas; he absolutely
loves them. A few minutes later, another moose came out of the forest. That was
a girl moose called Frida. She was shy and did not come to the fence. Our safari
lasted about two hours, after which we all happily came back to our coach. We went
back to school.
The trip was great fun. We had good weather and we saw a moose for the first time
in all our lives.
