It was 20 years ago, when I was 8 years old I was on holidays in Egypt with my parents. One morning my dad said: “Today we are going to see the Pyramids”. I was a little afraid, because my father often told me about the pharaohs who had been sleeping in sarcophagi for centuries. Sometimes, I imagined that one of them was leaving his sarcophagus and then he ate everyone he saw. I told it to my mum and asked her if it was true, but she told me; “You just have a huge imagination”. I thought she was right, but now 20 years after it’s time to talk about my big adventure . After lunch we left our hotel and reached the pyramids two hours later. The entire way there, Dad talked about mummies, sarcophagi and pyramids. While we were sightseeing, I felt bored with his talking and I decided to explore the pyramids on my own. I moved away from parents and I went into one smaller pyramid. There was no one inside. I heard a strange noise. Something was making a sound like…wooo…oooo..oo..wooo….I was really scared and wanted to escape but the doors were closed.

Suddenly, one sarcophagus started opening. I was crying and screaming when I saw a mummy climbing out of a sarcophagus. But no one heard me. The mummy was coming to me slowly and said to me: -“ I know that you have pictured me badly every time but look. I’m a “normal” thing like your pets. One exception is that I can talk. Don’t be afraid of me I just wanna talk to you!”. I thought” Why me?”. It told me I was the only one person all over the world who had never wanted to see it. Then I had a huge shock because the mummy told me: “ You live near my treasure chest”. I didn’t know what to say, but the mummy gave me the map and said; “ You mustn’t talk about it for the next 20 years, because if you tell anyone about it, every pyramid here will be destroyed and the treasure chest, too”. When I left, the mummy told me that it had be waiting for me for over 3000 years. Then, the mummy went into its sarcophagus again. The doors opened and I left. My parents were in panic because they didn’t know where I was. When I found them they started kissing me. Then we went back to the hotel.

Today is 21 July 2009 and two hours ago I told my boyfriend “Mummy’s story”. At first, he didn’t believe me but when I put up the old map I got from mummy, he believed! We followed the map and found the treasure. Now I am the only person in the whole world who has got Egyptian Mummy Musk.
